Roy Eugene Harper, 66, a resident of Robertsdale and a life long native of Baldwin Co., died Friday, October 18, 2013. Mr. Harper was a retired truck driver. He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Miles Harper and a brother, Toby Harper and is survived by his wife, Brenda Harper, Son, Joseph Harper of Birmingham, step son, Clay Blakenship of Robertsdale, two step daughters, Rena Dempsey Zajicek of Robertsdale, and Nikki Childress of Robertsdale, mother, Mary Harper of Robertsdale, brother, Durwood Sahr of Prairieville, LA, sister, Linda Ervene Lambeth of Brewton, AL, and a granddaughter, Brooklyn Haigler. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 21, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Mack Funeral Home. Interment will be held in Bethel Baptist Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 1-2 PM before the funeral service.
