Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mrs. Merle Smith Hall, age 87, of Swainsboro, GA on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at her residence.
Graveside services will be Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Swainsboro City Cemetery with Rev. Phil Wilson officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Swainsboro City Cemetery one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Hall was a native of Swainsboro, Emanuel County, GA, Owner/Operator of The Family Restaurant for over 25 years and a member of the United Primitive Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, B. C. "Dan" Hall and parents, Tom Watson and Sidney Parrish Smith.
