Stella moved to Gravette in 1969 from Colorado. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant working at Gravette Medical Center, later Gravette Manor, and Bentonville Manor, retiring in 1999. She was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist in Sulphur Springs. She loved to be with her grandchildren, great and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph Edward and Esther Molly Marie Alexander. Her husband Robert Orten and seven brothers Earl, Glynn, Sam, Joe, Leroy, LeVern and Dale.

She is survived by one son, Lonnie Orten and wife Barbara of Gravette, Arkansas; two brothers, Billy Gene Alexander and wife Jennie of Sulphur Springs, Arkansas, Wendall Alexander and wife Willa of Gravette, Arkansas; five sisters, Bonnie Schaffer and husband Bill of Gravette, Arkansas, Xollie Buffer and husband Delbert of Gravette, Arkansas, Ellen Neil of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Edna Schaffer of Clinton, Oklahoma, Betty Wilkins and husband Bud of Decatur, Arkansas; two grandchildren Tami Parker and husband Eric, Christi Clayton and husband Craig; three great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

A Committal Service of her Urn will be on Tuesday, October 22 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery in Gravette.
