LUBBOCK- Janice Anderson Matthews, 60, passed away Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013 at her home in Lubbock.
She was born on April 7, 1953 to Buck and Imogene Anderson in Lubbock.
She married the love of her life, Carlton R. Corky Matthews, on June 27, 1970.
Janice was co-owner of Matthews Plumbing, Matthews Backhoe, Regis Recycling and Diamond M Storage. She was a member of South Plains Church of Christ, and avid animal lover. She lived life for her children and grandchildren.
Janice is survived by her husband of 43 years, Corky; two sons, Roy and wife Misty, and Scooter and wife Holly; daughter, Misty Matthews; grandchildren, Tyler, Ian, Buff, Kaidyn, and Seth.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one grandson, Roy Matthews III.
Visitation will be Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013 in Resthaven Funeral from 3 to 5 p.m. Funeral services will be Monday, Oct. 21, 2013 in South Plains Church of Christ at 2 p.m. with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
