Jack E. Cohen, a retired Omaha businessman and former native of St. Louis, died (April 23, 1994) after a long illness.
Mr. Cohen founded the Mayfair Textiles in Omaha in 1946. He was vice president and a board member of the Jewish Press.
He was married to the late Sara Cohen, father of the late Leah Brookstein, the late Esther Labell, Irving, Texas, the late Phil Cohen, Orlando, Fla., the late Sam Cohen, St. Louis and the late Ruth Goldstein, St. Louis.
Among the survivors are his wife, Jane Cohen; a daughter, Toba Cohen of Washington, D.C.; a son, Michael Cohen of Omaha, Neb.; a sister Jackee Zalmanoff, Sherman, Texas, and three grandchildren.
