Abraham was brother of William H. Selsor who is buried in Plot 6 of Hood's Cemetery together with their father Henry. Abraham was an engineeer or machinist, working in Lower Germantown most of his life. He and wife Adeline Newcamp had a numerous family, including a son Abraham who was also an engineer. City directories show that Abraham lived and worked near his brother William H. Selsor around Bringhurst and Clinton (now Wakefield) Streets for several years in the 1850's.
