The body of James Howard Abney was interred in the Lizton Cemetery November 16, following services from the Proffitt & Sons Funeral Home in Crawfordsville.
Mr. Abney, a former resident of Lizton, died from a heart attack November 12 while attending a square dance at Shelbyville.
A construction worker, Mr. Abney was a veteran of World War II, and a member of Memorial Presbyterian Church in Crawfordsville.
Survivors include the widow, two sons, the father, Louis Dewey Abney, and the mother, Mrs. Goldie Coons and three brothers.
