Tye Rae Smith, Jr., infant son of Amy Ward passed away Wednesday in his residence. He was born in Miami Valley Hospital. Tye is survived by his mother of Fairborn; a brother, Austin Smith of Fairborn; a sister, Miranda Smith of Fairborn ; grandparents, Douglas and Charlene Moreland of Fairborn; a special aunt and uncle, Sarah and james Ward of Fairborn and many other relatives. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the entire Miami Valley Hospital N.I.C.U. unit for their loving care , especially Tye's primary nurses, Linda and Judy. They would like to thank all of those that are helping them through this time. Funeral service will be conducted Monday, July 25, at 2 pm in the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Road, Fairborn, Pastor Gene Martin officating. The family will receive friends from 1 pm until the time if services. Tye was loved dearly and will be missed.
