US Congressman. Elected to represent Oklahoma's 6th District in the United States House of Representatives, he served from 1927 to 1941. He also served as a Member of the Oklahoma State Senate from 1920 to 1927, and as a Federal Judge in 1947. He was also a veteran of World War I, having served in the United States Army.
