George H. Froming, 90, died Saturday March 27, 1999 at a Green Bay nursing home.
He was born May 2, 1908 in Phillips to the late August and Elizabeth (Eder) Froming. On Sept. 4, 1937 he married Cecilia M. Helf at St. Peter and Paul Catholic church in Kiel. She preceded him in death on March 22, 1999. He was an electrical contractor in New Holstein for many years and achieved a 60-year badge of honor from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers-Local Union 494.
Survivors include three sons, George T. (Donna), Jay (Joan) and Bill (Karen). He also delighted in his grandchildren, Theresa, Debbie, Becky, George, David, Cheri, Chad and Colleen; and 10 great grandchildren. He had four siblings of whom Lillian Pearson is the only survivor.
Private memorial services were held. Lyndhal Funeral Home of Green Bay is serving the family.
