Simeon married Edith "Eda" Holdren (1834?-1885?) on 2 March 1854 in Daviess County, Indiana. Their children (all daughters) are believed to be: Martha Elizabeth Armes Crouch (b. 1856), Lydia A. Armes (b. ~1858), Emily E. Armes Bolton (b. ~1860), Wisie E. Arms Haley (b. 1866), Grace Rosetta Armes Yerton (b. 1868), Harmony Armes (b. ~1874), and Nancy Elizabeth Armes Edwards (b. 1876 or '78). Simeon's last known residence was Pleasant Ridge, Barry County, Missouri, according to the 1900 Federal Census which indicates that he was a widower living with daughters Lydia and "Grissie" [Gracie?]. At least four of these daughters are all buried in Calton Cemetery, so one may wonder if Simeon is buried here too. It is uncertain what year he died [appox. 1905(?) since I don't find him yet on any 1910 census] and whether he is buried here or not. Confirmation is welcomed. Grace Rosetta Armes (30 Sep 1868 IN-6 Mar 1925 Barry Co, MO) buried Calton Cemetery. Married to George Washington Yerton.
