He was born November 16, 1974 in Chicago, IL. to Leslie and Sharon (Nichols) Armstrong. He attended Family Worship Center in Johnston City, IL. Jason is survived by his mother Sharon Manier and stepfather Carl of Goreville, IL.; grandmother Ellen Burd of Goreville, IL; aunt Peggy Jennings of Goreville, IL.; cousins Chris, Tammy, Alisa and dear friends Frankie Dunn, Mike Mohring, Glen Rich, Robbie and Roberta Galyeon, Gene Robinson, John Hammers and Tara, Glen and Betty Dunn. He was preceded in death by his father; brother Darren Nichols; grandfather Thomas Nichols. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 22, 2009, at Union Funeral Home in West Frankfort, IL. with Rev. Charles Jennings officiating. Interment was in the Cana Cemetery in Goreville, IL. Visitation was held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, February 21, 2009 at the funeral home.
