SARAH FRANCE MORRISON

Sarah France Morrison, age 77, of Sandy River Road, Axton, Va., passed away, Monday, October 14, 2013, at her residence.

Sarah was born, February 10, 1936, to the late James W. Watkins and the late Beulah Martin Watkins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Morrison, Sr.

Sarah is survived by one daughter, Jacquiline Martin, of Martinsville, Va.; two sons, Mark Morrison of Axton, Va., and Harold Morrison, Jr., of Martinsville, Va.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four sisters, Orene Carter, Margie Watkins, Shirley Adams, all of Axton, Va. and Lillian Strange of Belle Vernon, Pa.; four brothers, Melvin Watkins, Richard Watkins, Larry Watkins, all of Axton, Va. and Lewis Watkins, of Altuna, Calif.

The family will receive friends a half-hour prior to service and all other times at the residence.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Sinai Holiness Church in Axton, Va. with Rev. Bruce Simmons and Elder Stephen Campbell officiating. Interment will be in Watkins family cemetery, Axton, Va.

Arrangements are entrusted to Hairston Funeral Home.
