James E. Greuel, 54 of 110 Barkway St., Cleveland, died Tuesday evening, Oct. 5, 1999 at his home, after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born Nov. 11, 1944 in Milwaukee, son of Jean Bastian Greuel and the late Sylvarius Greuel. He attended Ss. Peter and Paul Grade School, Kiel. On Feb. 27, 1965 he married Daisy Myer at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, Sheboygan. James owned and operated Black Shadow Mink Ranch in Chilton, for approximately 25 years and for the past 10 years, he had worked as a supervisor at RCS Rehabilitation Center, Sheboygan.
Survivors include his wife, Daisy; three children, Laura (Lawrence) Gloede, Cecil; James Greuel, Cleveland; Simon (Sarah) Greuel, Chilton; his mother, Jean Greuel, rural Kiel; eight grandchildren. He is further survived by three brothers, William (Diane) Greuel, Chilton; Joe (Marilyn) Greuel, Kiel; David Greuel, rural Kiel; five sisters, Barbara Greuel, Margaret Greuel, Mary Greuel, all of rural Kiel; Sandra (Stan) Roe, Lorraine (Randall) Schnell, New Holstein. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Kenneth.
Funeral Mass will be at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel, with Rev. Loren Nys, SDS officiating.
