Funeral service for Jacob DeLue, retired Canandaigua farmer, who died Friday, was held Sunday at the John C. Johnson Funeral Home, Rev. Harold S. Swales D. D., pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery. Mr. DeLue, a native of The Netherlands, came to the Canandaigua area in 1915. His wife, Anna, died in 1956. A son, John DeLue died while serving with the U. S. Army during World War II. His only survivors are nieces and nephews.
