In Memory of My Older Sister,
Judith Elizabeth Marley Dawson
October 23, 1944 - October 15, 2013

My mentor, my friend, my baby-sitter (much to her chagrin.)
Moss houses, leaf houses, ice houses - way back when.
School bus driver, smart kid, CPA, Scuba Diving Queen.

Loved her family, faithful to her friends,
found God in all things.
Put others first, tender heart,
oh how losing her truly stings.
Life guard, swim teacher, planner, organizer,
gave life to any plant.
Fun to be with, tough as nails,
found happiness being married to Grant.

Hiker, camper, dancer, Grandpa's blacksmith and watermelon girl.
Stubborn as a mule, but her daddy's delight
and her mother's sweet pearl.
"I'll do it myself" were her first words, so I've been told.
But always there when anyone needed a loving hand to hold.

Be at peace and rest in Christ...
