Nancy Irene Routh is the second child of William Anderson Routh and his first wife, Margaret G. Benge Routh.
1860 TEXAS CENSUS, Fannin County, Bonham P.O., July 31, p. 168 - W. A. Routh, head, age 33, clerk, $1000/600, born Tn; M. G., wife, age 31, k. house, born Tn; Alf P., son, age 5; Nancy I., dau, age 3; William E., son, age 4/12.
Note: Twin boys, William Evans and Henry W. were born Jan. 18, 1860, Henry W. died May 27, 1860.
The Civil War began in 1862 and Nancy's father enlisted in the Texas CSA. Her mother died during the war in 1863. After the war, her father married his second wife, Margaret Elizabeth Carter, and four half siblings were born.

In the next two years, two half sisters were born and in 1874, the youngest half sister and her stepmother died. Nancy's father married his third wife, Sarah Elizabeth Thompson and three more half siblings were born.

Nancy Irene Routh married William Carter Beavers and had one child, a daughter born September 1883. Nancy died October 31, 1883 in Arlington, Tarrant County, Texas, She was 26 years old.
