A memorial service for Ruby L. Williamson, 81, Chandler is scheduled for 10 A M Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bill McNatt officiating.

Ruby passed away October 8, 2013 in Tyler.

She was one of ten children born to Edwin Gottlieb and Emma Louise Saenger Albers of Giddings and Houston. Ruby was a long standing member of IOF/Forester's and held several officer positions. She was an active member of Sunrise Shores Women's Club. She enjoyed bowling, dominoes with family and friends, campouts and volunteering. Ruby will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Gus Albert Albers, William Reinholdt Albers, both of Houston, John Henry Albers, Bastrop, Edwin George Albers, Waco; sisters Clara Alma Albers, Houston and Minnie Mary Albers, Giddings.

Survivors are her brothers Ewald Ben and Doris Albers, Athens, Richard Robert and Retha Albers, Garland and Fred Gerhardt and Peggy Albers, Fairfield; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
