Michelle showed great courage throughout and was only worried about others, even in the middle of her own battle. Michelle was a loving daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend. She was fiercely devoted to her faith and her family and she loved spoiling her nieces and nephews. Michelle faithfully cheered on her Florida Gators and Pittsburgh Steelers. She was employed by the Marion County Sheriff's Department.
Michelle is survived by her parents, Michael and Pam Rice, 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and Ginger Rice, and Marc and Melissa Rice, Maternal Grandparents, Charles and Pauline Williams, 3 nephews, and 1 niece who she loved dearly.
Michelle is preceded in death by her Paternal Grandparents, Glenn and Helen Rice, and her niece, Kyleigh Faith Rice.
Michelle's "Celebration of Life" will be held at Central Church of Christ, 4200 NE Silver Springs Blvd. on Saturday, Oct. 19 at 11:00am. Michelle requested memorial contributions to be made to Every Little Miracle, a foundation that helps NICU and infant loss families and was founded in honor of her niece, Kyleigh.
