Jeanette B. Graf, 81, of 904 Sixth St. Kiel died peacefully Thursday evening, Dec. 15, 2005 at her home which was also the 19th anniversary of her husband, "Foozy's" death was on Dec. 15, 1986.
The former Jeanette Wendling was born Sept. 22, 1924 in Kiel, daughter of the late Rudolph and Elsie Kautzer Wendling. Jeanette attended SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church and was a graduate of Kiel High School. She married Jack "Foozy" Graf at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel on June 19, 1946. Jeanette was employed at the former Hanson Glove Factory and AA Laun Furniture Co. for a number of years. Prior to her retirement she was employed at Kiel High School. She was a member of Ss Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel and the Christian Women's Society. She also enjoyed the 3:30 p.m. Rummy Club at her sister Elsie Arnold's home. Jeanette enjoyed swimming, playing rummy, cards and socializing with her family and friends at MC's and the Gravel Pit after church on Saturdays.
Survivors include her two daughters Jacklyn (Lyle) Schoenborn, Kiel and Charlene Graf and fiancé Brian Hannibal of rural New Holstein; two grandchildren and one great grandson. She is further survived by her brothers and sisters Marie (Arno) Kienbaum, Kiel, Delores (Tony) Kauth, Kiel, Robert (Charlotte) Dedering, Kiel, Butch (Janet) Wendling, Kiel, Rudy (Barbara) Wendling, Kiel, Sylvia Anhalt and special friend Gene, of Cedar Lake and Ariz., Nancy (Robert) Wier, El Paso, Texas, Diane (Tom) Twohig, Fond du Lac, Barbara ( John) Schwind, Glenbeulah, Elsie Arnold, Kiel; one brother-in-law, Leroy Breit, Kiel; one sister-in-law Elaine Wendling, Valders; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Glenroy Wendling,; one sister Georgiana Breit.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with the Rev. Loren Nys, SDS officiating. Burial took place in the parish cemetery.
