Michelle Arlu (Rober) Booth, 65, Tucson, Ariz., died Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013, as the result of a two-year battle against breast cancer.

A memorial service will take place at a later date in November.

Michelle Rober was born March 12, 1948, in Minneapolis to Carmen and Orla (Holmeid) Rober of Luverne. The family lived in Luverne where Michelle attended Luverne Elementary school until 1958. The family then moved to Tucson. She graduated from Amphitheater High School, Tucson, in 1966.

Michelle began her career with Western Airlines, which merged with Delta Airlines, in 1967 in Los Angeles, Calif. She married Richard Booth and had one son. She worked 34 years for Delta Airlines and retired in 2000. She moved back to her beloved desert in Tucson.

She continued to be active with her neighborhood association and reestablishing friendships in Tucson.

Michelle is survived by a son, Richard "Rick" Booth, Las Cruces, N.M.; and a brother, Randy Rober, Lewis, Colo.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorials in Michelle's memory may be diretected to a local cancer organization or hospice.
