Peggy Jean Day, age 67, of Plano, Texas passed away Oct. 8, 2013. She was born July 3, 1946 in Nixon, Texas to Eugene "Gene" Day and Mildred Wishert Day. She was an Educational Diagnostician having earned her Bachelors in Speech and Drama from Pan American University and her Masters in Education from the University of Houston. She is survived by her companion of eleven years Daniel Doria; daughter Courtney Edmonson; sister Helen Ruth White; and grandchildren Myra, Sonia, and Sameer. She is preceded in death by her son Jason Derek Edmonson; and her parents. A graveside service will be held at 11 AM, Saturday Oct. 19, 2013 in the Karnes City Cemetery. The graveside service will be officiated by Rev. Linda Martella- White. Funeral services are entrusted to Rhodes Funeral Home, Inc. of Karnes City, Texas.
