Helen Irene Foster Vicars, age 73, of Bristol, Va. went to be with the Lord Saturday, January 8, 2005 in the Johnson City Medical Center from serious injuries sustained in an automobile accident which occurred on December 31, 2004.
She was born May 31, 1931 in Erwin, TN. to the late Arvie E. and Iva Guinn Foster
She lived her life in the Bristol area. She was retired from North Electric, and was a former employee of Big Jack Mfg. She was a member of Fellowship Chapel Church in Bristol, Va.. Survivors include:
Husband of 51 years, Clarence F. Vicars
Son: David F. Vicars and wife Diane Withers Vicars
Granddaughter: Lynsey Jordan Vicars
Sisters: Mabel Hensley, Yvonne Ledford, Renda Lee Lowe
Brothers: Arvie E. Foster, Jr., Quentin Foster, Kermit Foster, Royce Wayne Foster, Jack Foster, Jerry Foster
11 Nephews and 11 Nieces.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Monday in the Mountain View Cemetery.
