The family will receive friends on Thursday from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel.
Mrs. Horn died Wednesday, January 19, 2000. She was a native and lifelong resident of Shreveport, LA. Mrs. Horn was a member of First Assembly of God in Shreveport where she served in many aspects through the years. She taught school at Evangel Christian Academy for the last ten years.
She was preceded in death by her father, Orville Woods and sister, Linda Kay Wilson.
Survivors are her husband, Roy Horn, Jr. of Shreveport, LA; mother, Marbie Jean Woods of Haughton, LA; maternal grandmother, Verna Owens of Haughton, LA; children, Jeremy A. Horn, Timothy M. Horn and Deanna E. Horn all of Shreveport, LA; two brothers, Jerry Dale Woods and wife, Susan of Stonewall, LA; Ricky Woods and wife, Judy of El Dorado, AR; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials may be made to First Assembly of God Building Fund.
The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Brenda's church family and many friends for their love and support and a special thanks to Dr. Larry Flake.
