Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Paul YORK, for James HASLER, father of Mrs. YORK. Mr. HASLER passed away Friday morning at the YORK home. Rev. L. D. Robertson officiated. Special music was sung by Rev and Mrs. C. W. LAYTON. Burial was in Grandview Cemetery. Mr. HASLER was a member of the local Masonic lodge. He was the son of Peter and Elizabeth (STUCKEY) HASLER, of Taylor Township. For more than a quarter of a century he operated a hardware store in Bloomfield. His wife died in 1932 and since that time he has made his home with Mrs. YORK. Survivors include Mrs. YORK, three sons, James O, of Liberty; Samuel Edward, of Bloomfield; Oscar W., of Bloomfield; one sister Sarah HASLER, of Route 4 and four grandchildren.
