She was born in Mobile, Al. and grew up in Biloxi. After spending two years in Fl., she returned to MS to help her parents, A.Z. and Stella Mae (Hadley) Oberhaus operate the Pier Graveline Fishing Camp. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Wallace, her son Joel August Wallace, parents and sister Auriel Hartman.
She is survived by her "daughter-in-heart" Vivian Wallace Parker of Helena, granddaughter Kimberly Wallace, five other grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, two beloved and devoted nephews, Chip Hartman and wife Mari of Oahu, Hi., Hadley Hartman and wife Bonnie of Gainesville, Fl., and a very special friend of the family Linda Miller.
