He joined the Armed Forces in WWII where he served as a Radar Mechanic and Radio Repairman. After the war, he re-enlisted in the Army where he served in the Signal Corp during the Korean War years. Completing his military service, Huck went to work for IBM Corporation's Time Equipment Division as an Engineer where he served 39 years, retiring in Austin, Texas, as an Advisory Scientist on Motor Magnetics. He was a FBHI Master Clockmaker, and notable Author and Horologist. Huck was very active in his church, serving the Lord continually, and with gladness in his heart."
