York, Mary Jane McLaughlin, 92, died at 8 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2017 at Pleasant Acres Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Harry J. McLaughlin.
Born July 14, 1924 in York New Salem, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Laura (Henry) Senft.
She worked as a Sales Clerk at Sears for 30 years. She was a member of St. Jacob's United Church of Christ in York New Salem.
Mrs. McLaughlin is survived by a son, Douglas K. McLaughlin and his wife, Suzanne of York; a daughter, Donna M. Bieda of York; five grandchildren, Kelly Butzler, Michael Bieda, Alycia Meile, Marlena McLaughlin, and Erica Myers; 15 great-grandchildren; and a brother, H. Leon Senft and his wife, Jennifer. She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Richard Bieda.
Funeral services will be private with Pastor Richard Stuempfle, Pastor of St. Jacob's United Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in St. Jacob's Union Cemetery in York New Salem. Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 E. Market St., York, is in charge of arrangements.
