Rita M. Tittl, age 82, a life long Manitowoc resident, entered eternal life on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at St. Mary's Home at Felician Village in Manitowoc.
Rita was born September 28, 1930 in Manitowoc. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret Marlborough Daley. Rita attended Lincoln High School and graduated with the class of 1948. She partnered with her husband Fritz at the Park Café Restaurant in Manitowoc from 1969 to 1978. She then became employed at the Elbow Room until she retired. On June 23, 1951 she married Frederick "Fritz" Tittl at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on November 15, 2009. Rita enjoyed baking and making perfect deserts for her family and friends.
She is survived by her four children: Julie Braunel, Manitowoc; Peter (Susan) Tittl, Bakersfield, CA; Dave Tittl and fiancé Sharlene Galdeen, Niagra, WI; Paul (Julie) Tittl, Manitowoc; 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, two brothers: Patrick (Gail) Daley, Green Bay, WI; Michael (Mary) Daley, Green Bay, WI; one sister: Diane (Tom) Wiedel, Oak Creek, WI; sister-in-law: Marion Daley, Manitowoc; brother-in-law: Tony Roberts, Manitowoc; nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends. Rita was preceded in death by her parents: Joseph and Margaret Daley; husband: Frederick "Fritz" Tittl; brother: Thomas Daley; sister: Marge Roberts; son-in-law: Dale Braunel.
Memorial services will be held 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 4, 2013 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Jeremy Vance. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel. Relatives and friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of services at 5:30. Following the funeral services a luncheon will be held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the funeral home.
