JAMES WILLIAM ADAMS

Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon for James William Adams, 42, Madill, who died Saturday morning in Fort Worth.

Mr. Adams was born Nov. 26, 1936, at Caddo. He was raised in Fort Worth. He had made his home in Madill for the past few years, working as a mechanic.

He was member of the Elmwood Baptist Church of Fort Worth.

Survivors include four daughters, Debra Ann Hayes, Patricia Ann Davenport, Catherine Ann Rasmussen and Pamela Ann Beck, all of Fort Worth; his mother, Alberta Newcomb, of Madill; two brothers, Joe Adams of Lexington and Donald Joe Newcomb of Madill; a sister, Clara Brassfield, of Tulsa and two grandchildren, Joe Ray Rasmussen and James Conrad, both of Fort Worth.

Services were conducted from Watts Memorial Chapel with Thelma Hale officiating. Music was arranged by Bill Dunn with Johnnie Ruth Jacks as organist. Burial was in Woodberry-Forest Cemetery.

Casket escorts were Bruce Brown, Tommy Hunnicutt, John H. Jones, R. L. Mayo, Eli Poey and Joe Allen Rasmussen.
