Gregory Thomas Bryant, 89, West Chicago, Ill., formerly of Logansport, passed away Monday, Sept. 23, 2013, in St. Charles, Ill. He was born June 14, 1924, in Logansport.

He was a longtime resident of West Chicago, Ill., where he was an active member of the business community.

Gregory served in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the Asiatic Pacific Theater. He was a quartermaster second class, serving on two LSTs, earning five battle stars.

He was a retired residential builder in the west and south suburbs of Chicago. He also was the past president of the South Suburban Home Builders Association.

He was the loving father of Dixie Bryant (deceased), Teresa (Rod) Rancik, Chris Bryant, Suzanne (Steve) Treudt and a proud grandfather of three.

Interment will be in the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, Ill.
