Rosemary Riley Price was born in Portland on July 4, 1924 to Harold Clarence Riley and Mary Smathers Riley. Rosemary passed away peacefully in her sleep after a brief fight with cancer. She was able to celebrate Thanksgiving surrounded by her family.

Rosemary went to Roosevelt High School and was on the school's pep squad. She met and married Robert Price at the beginning of World War II. After the war they lived in the Portland area and raised three children.

Rosemary's passions included her grandchildren, growing roses and attending Beaver football games with friends. Rosemary will always be remembered by her positive outlook on all aspects in life and the cheer and joy she gave all those who were blessed to know her.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; and is survived by her three children, David, Robert and Jill; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A private Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, Dec. 10, 2012 at a family member's house.
