DOROTHY E. GEORG KEELER, 97, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013, at Lutheran Life Villages, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of Louis L. and Louise E. Affolder. Dorothy married the Rev. Howard S. Georg in 1942 (d.1972). In 1980, she married to Leonard Keeler (d.1993). "Dorothy was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. Her steadfast faith was the source of her drive, passion and love for all." Surviving are children, Carol (Bo) Knueppel of Fort Wayne, David Georg of Santa Monica, Calif., Philip Georg of Tijeras, N.M., and Donna Newman of Gallup, N.M.; sister, Perceda "Pat" Bloombach of Fort Wayne; and beloved extended family. She was also preceded in death by son, Howard F. Georg; sister, Anita Voelker; and brother, Louis F. Affolder. A celebration of Dorothy's life and the fulfillment of her hope in our Lord Jesus Christ is noon Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013, at Lutheran Life Villages Chapel, 6701 S. Anthony Blvd., Fort Wayne, with calling two hours prior. Burial will follow service in Concordia Gardens on Lake Ave. Memorials may be made to Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran.
