Lynn Baldwin, age 60, of Andrews, NC passed away Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Union General Hospital.
He was a native of Cherokee County, NC and the son of Otealia Lail Baldwin of the Nantahala Community and the late Earl Baldwin. Lynn was a self-employed construction worker (Baldwin Construction) for many years and worked with Stergeon Electric (Myr Group) and also did farming. Lynn loved hunting and fishing. He was a member of the White Oak Flats Baptist Church in the Nantahala Community.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife, Reta Neal Baldwin; three sons, Scott Baldwin and wife Amy of Brasstown, NC, Kevin Baldwin and wife Cindy of the Nantahala Community and Chuck Baldwin and wife Misty of Andrews, NC; two brothers, Richard Baldwin and Tommy Baldwin both of the Nantahala Community; and eight grandchildren, Whitney, Hunter, Jena, Corey, Hannah, Aubrey, Dylan and Chloe.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM, Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at the White Oak Flats Baptist Church in the Nantahala Community. Rev. S.J. Waters and Rev. Steve Waters will officiate. Music will be provided by Sonny Reighard. Burial will be in the Aquone Cemetery in the Nantahala Community. Pallbearers will be Jerome Michaels, Stanley Pendergrass, Chris Baldwin, Ben Koszczepki, Timmy Solesbee and Jim Dailey. Honorary Pallbearers will be Brett Phillips and David Allison.
