Albert Bachman: The funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Fisher Funeral Home, Vermilion, with the Rev. Earl T. English officiating. Burial will be in the Brownhelm Cemetery, Vermilion.

He was born in Brownhelm Township and had lived in the Vermilion area all his life.

Before retiring 11 years ago, Mr. Bachman was employed by the city of Vermilion as a pipe fitter at American Ship Building Co. And later worked at Fruehauf Trailer Co., Avon Lake.

Surviving are his wife, Bernice (nee Wooster), a daughter, Mrs. Shirley Hegadore of Vermilion; six sons, Floyd, Clyde and Roger, all of Vermilion, Dale with the Air Force at Dayton, LaVerne of Elyria and Melvin at home; eleven grandchildren; a brother, George of Vermilion,; six sisters, Mrs. Clara Schubert, Ella & Alma Bachman, and Mrs. Elsie Myers, all of Vermilion, Mrs. Elizabeth Corsier of Vermilion and Mrs. Sophia Mills of Sun City, Ariz.

Friends will be received at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
