Bernice L. Bachman, 81, of Vermilion, died Tuesday at her home following a long illness.

She was born in Fields Corners, Ohio and moved to Vermilion 18 years ago from North Ridgeville.

She was a member of the Vermilion Golden Agers.

She is survived by a daughter, Shirley Weinot of Elyria; sons, Floyd, Clyde, Melvin, Roger, all of Vermilion. LaVerne of Cleveland and Dale of Brookhaven, Miss; nineteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was the last member of the 14 children of the Wooster Famiy of North Ridgeville.

Friends may call tonight from 7-9 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, Vermilion.

Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Dr. James Skinner, pastor of Fields United Methodist Church, North Ridgeville, will officiate. Burial will be in Brownhelm Cemetery.

Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the Vermilion Golden Agers.
