Hattie D. Spanos (nee Tackett), 56, of Elyria, died of an apparent heart attack at her home Sunday.
Born in Beaver, Ky., Mrs. Spanos had lived in Elyria for 24 years.
She was a member of Freewill Baptist Church in Lorain. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening.
She was preceded in death by her father, Noah Tackett; daughters Sherry Osterman and Mary Lou Kiser; and granddaughter Ashley Bristow.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Reichlin-Roberts Funderal Home, 327 Cleveland St., Elyria, and from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Freewill Baptist Church, 4905 Fleming Ave., Lorain.
The Rev. Harold Horner, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery in Elyria.
