Mr. Cooper was the former owner and operator of the Old Luxemburg Inn. He had currently been a charter bus driver in the Springfield area and was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in World War II.
Survivors: two sons, Michael Cooper of El Paso and Gregory Cooper of Riverton; five daughters, Joyce and Penny Cooper and Debra Cooper Lee, all of Springfield, Karen "Jean" Beveridge of Pennsylvania and Bonnie Anderson of New Hampshire; five grandchildren; and a sister, Helen Kalbach of Pennsylvania.
Services: 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, the Rev. Jeff Chitwood and Bob Green officiating.
Burial: Oak Hill Cemetery.
