Donald Lee Hendrix, 55, of Arab died Sunday, Oct. 6, 2013, at Marshall Medical Center North.
Mr. Hendrix was born April 3, 1958, in Los Angeles, Calif., to Reginald and Carolyn Poiset Hendrix. He was married to the former Carla Pool for 36 years.
He worked as a service engineer for Greenbrier Rail Systems, served in the US Air Force from 1976-1978. He was a member of New Brashier's Chapel United Methodist Church where he served as music director.
He was preceded in death by a sister: Kathy Rhymes.
The funeral was at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013, at New Brashier's Chapel United Methodist Church. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
