Kenneth Danner NEWTON Kenneth Ronald Danner, 58, of Newton, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011. Born July 1, 1953, he was the son of Alta Danner and the late Ronald Danner of Newton. He was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Reformed Church, Newton, where he was a deacon, an elder, a Sunday school teacher, and a member of the praise band. He graduated from North Carolina State University in 1974, with an engineering degree. He was an avid fan of the Beatles and loved to write songs and play his guitar. He enjoyed dancing with his oldest granddaughter, was teaching his grandson how to play the guitar, and loved to play with his youngest granddaughter. They would put on shows for everyone who would listen. He was a caring and loving son, husband, father, and pappaw who will be greatly missed. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife of 39 years. A service of remembrance will be held Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, at 11 a.m., at St. Paul's Reformed Church with the Rev. Dr. Stephen Disher officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul's Memorial Park.
