Jeffrey Scott Franklin, 40, of Mansfield, Ohio died Monday, September 25, 2000 unexpectedly at MedCentral Mansfield. He was born September 7, 1960 in Marion, Ohio to Clifford D. & Beverly J. Corwin Franklin. Mr. Franklin was a 1979 graduate of Mansfield Senior High School. He was employed with General Motors Corp. and attended First Assembly of God.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Tackett Franklin of Mansfield, OH; a daughter, Jessica Lynn Franklin of Mansfield, OH; a step-son, Christopher Fletcher of Mansfield, OH; his parents, Clifford & Beverly Corwin Franklin; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Cliff Franklin of San Antonio, TX, Gregory & Marine Franklin of Mansfield, OH, Craig & LeAnn Franklin of Lexington, OH; a nephew Chase Franklin of Mansfield, OH; a niece, Kirsten Franklin of Mansfield, OH; six aunts; three uncles. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Freddie & Virgie Franklin; maternal grandparents, Don Corwin and Virginia Hughes.
Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Wednesday, September 27, 2000 from 3-5p.m. and 7-9p.m. Services will be held at the First Assembly of God on Thursday September 28, 2000 at 10:30 a.m. conducted by Pastor Thomas Blair. Burial will be held at Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to First Assembly of God Mission Fund.
