James, Keith Lawrence 42, of Orlando was called home to God on Friday, August 30, 2013, after a six year battle with ALS. Keith was born in the Bronx, New York on February 6, 1971 and moved to Brookfield, Ct. in 1973 with his family. He graduated from Brookfield High School and Southern Connecticut State University. Keith moved to Orlando after graduation and started his marketing career at Disney. He then moved on to the Orlando Chamber of Commerce and then on to Gray Robinson, Attorneys at Law. He was with Brighthouse Networks , from which he retired due to his illness. Keith loved the N.Y. Jets and the N.Y. Yankees. He loved nothing more than playing with his twin daughters, Cameron and Sydney, as well as his beloved dog Matti. He was known for his ever-present smile and great sense of humor, and his willingness to always lend a helping hand. Keith will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, good son, and a loyal friend to all. He is survived by his wife Amy and his daughters, Cameron and Sydney. His parents and siblings, Maureen, Cathy, Richard, and a large extended family. A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday, September 4 , 2013 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 861 Maitland Avenue, Maitland, FL 32701 from 6:30PM - 8:00PM. The Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, September 5, 2013 11:00AM at the church. A reception will be held following the service in the Parish Life Center at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, you consider a donation to ALS Association Florida Chapter at www.alsa.org.
