Mr. Aucoin was born and raised in Somerville, Massachusetts, and later became a long-time resident of Newton. He was survived by several siblings, his devoted wife, four loving children, and many grandchildren.

Mr. Aucoin was a decorated United States Navy veteran and Purple Heart recipient from WWII. He retired as a staff sergeant from the Massachusetts State Police, and he later worked as a U.S. Deputy Marshall and as a special investigator for Allstate Insurance.

Mass of Christian Burial celebrated on February 23rd at 10AM in Sacred Heart Church, Newton Centre. Funeral services by Henry J. Burke & Sons Funeral Home, Wellesley, Massachusetts.
