Lorene Marie Lawrence Bonde
Sioux Rapids. She was married to
Merlyn Bonde on August 2. 1937
Their 40 years of married life were
spent farming in the Newell area
There was a daughter and son
born from this union, Mrs Don
(Charlott) Rasmussen of Dexter,
Iowa and Richard Bonde of
Bedford, Iowa, six grandchildren.
Susan, Wayne and James Bonde,
and Laura, Lisa and Gary Rasmussen.
Other survivors besides her
husband and children include her
father. Harlow Lawrence of Fonda,
step-mother. Ferna Lawrence,
brother Bert Lawrence of Des
Moines and Earl Lawrence of
Gowne. and sister, Mrs Eldon
(Jean) Tipp of Mora, Minnesota,
and several nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her
mother. Mrs Lucy Lawrence and
sister, Grace Lawrence
Lorene's life was a very full and
busy one. she helped her husband,
Merlyn with the farming working
together as a team She wasn't one
to be active in many social groups
but gave all her time and energy to
her husband, children and family.
