Colleen was born February 4, 1955 in Idaho Falls, a daughter to Ramon R Curtis and Wilma Grace Bird Curtis. She attended schools in Ucon, and Bonneville schools in Idaho Falls, the then attended and graduated from Rigby High School. She continued her education at Ricks College and Idaho State University graduating with a MBA degree in Accounting in 1997.
She was an active member of the LDS Church and served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Columbus, Ohio. She married DaLenor Roy Halls November 14, 1981 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. They later divorced.
She worked for Farm Bureau, F.M.C., and Sigfried as a corporate Accountant. She enjoyed scrapbooking, card making and photographing flowers.
Survivors include: her son Jonathan Porter Halls of Gilbert, Arizona, her father Ramon R. (Mary Lee) Curtis of Rexburg, sisters Maureen Curtis of St. George, Utah, Ramona (Paul) Pearson of Tremonton, Utah and four brothers Veral B. (Sue) Curtis of Redwood City, California, Thayne R (Cathy) Curtis of Meridian, Idaho, Stanton L. (Sheryl) Curtis of Phoenix, Arizona, Scott N (Darla) Curtis of Garfield, Idaho. She was preceded in death by her Mother and 2 sisters.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Garfield 1st Ward LDS Chapel, 71 N. 3700 E. Rigby. The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Ucon Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Funeral Home in Rigby.
