Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday in North Holtville Friends Church, 1595 E. Blodgett Road, for Eva Andrea K. Allen, 91, of Holtville, who died Tuesday in rural Holtville. Pastor Michael Allen will officiate.

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in El Centro.

Mrs. Allen was born March 16, 1910, in Holtville. She spent most of her life in the Imperial Valley except for a 10-year interlude when her family moved to Newberg, Ore.

She returned to the Valley after graduating from Friends Academy in Newberg and soon after met and married Cecil Dennis "Bill" Allen in Holtville on Sept. 4, 1931.

She was an active member of North Holtville Friends Church, the Women's Christian Temperance Union, the Christian Women's Club, the Home Department and the Parent-Teachers Association.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Dennis "Bill" Allen, three brothers and one sister.

Survivors include her daughters, Edith Mae Jackson of Holtville and Margaret Ann Roth of Anaheim; sons, George William Allen of Pleasant Hill and Dennis Michael Allen of Holtville; sisters, Olive Hester and Edith Jones, both of Newberg; brothers, George Orla Kendall of Pullman, Wash., and Alfred Kendall of Goldhill, Ore.; 15 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
