Crist Funeral to be Sunday
Ansted, Nov. 3: Sarah Elizabeth Crist, 79, of Ansted died Wednesday in a Montgomery hospital.
Surviving besides her husband, E.R. Crist, are three sons: Shirley of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Estes, of Arbovale and Stanton, of Ansted; two daughters: Vessie Walkup, of Ramsey and Beulah Crist, of Charleston; one brother, Lloyd Crrokshanks, of Ramsey; two sisters; Mrs. Mae Bailey, of Lakeland, Fla., and Mrs. Maggie McCutcheon, of Elliot.
The body will be removed to the residence Saturday from the Thomas Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Charles Stevenson at the Victor church Sunday at 2 p.m. with burial following in the Mt. Zion cemetery. [Beckley Post-Herald (Beckley, WV) 04 Nov 1949, p2
