``John William Ayers aged 54 years
died at the home of his mother Mrs
Bridget Ayers of 337 East Park street
Sunday of pneumonia. Mr Ayers was
stricken with the disease last week.
Besides his mother he is survived by
a brother Edward and two sisters
Mrs John L Thompson and Miss Sadie
Ayers, all of Butte. He was born in
Newark N J and had resided in Butte
for the past twenty-five years, being
engaged in mining since he attained his
majority. The funeral was held Tuesday
morning from the family residence
proceeding to Sacred Heart church
where mass was celebrated. Interment
