Annie Shepherd Baldwin Wise, 88, of Madison, died Friday, October 1, 1999, at Hospitality Care Center. She was born March 8, 1911 in Morgan County, the daughter of the late William Whitfield Baldwin and the late Sarah Quillian Baldwin. She was a member of the United Methodist Women and the Loyal Daughters Sunday School Class.

She was married to Walter W. Wise, Sr. who preceded her in death. Mrs. Wise is survived by a daughter Mrs. Edith Wise and her husband Mark Mason, Madison, a son, Mr. Walter W. Wise, Jr. and his wife Edith, Melbourne Beach, Florida, three sisters, Mrs. Lilias B. Turnell and Mrs. Sally B. Harris, both of Madison, and Mrs. Mary B. Harris, Rome, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday October 1 at First United Methodist Church, Madison, with the Reverend Layne Jenkins officiating. Interment was in Morgan Memorial Park. Simmons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangement.
