Mr. Geiger was a native of Lexington County but had lived in Columbia for the past 30 years, where he was connected with various city departments until forced to retire because of ill health. He was a member of Richland Council No 192, Junior Order, United American Mechanics.
He is survived by 10 cousins, Mrs. Mollie Aughtry, Mrs. Inez Green, Mrs. Countney Dennis, Mrs. Lou Ella Parker, Mrs. Cora Derrick, Mrs. Hattie Brigman, Mrs. Maggie Hawkins, Sam Geiger, all of Columbia, Maxie Geiger of Dentsville and Mrs. Mattie Scudder of Georgia.
Pallbearers will be, J. H. Rawl, T. P. Norton, J. L. Reid Jr., R. A. Broome, W. P. Moore and J. L. Hester.
